Summer Squash, Zucchini (yellow) Sebring F1 High-yielding
yellow zucchini. Beautiful, golden, cylindrical fruits are produced
abundantly on open, easy-to-harvest plants. Very few with green tips.
Summer Squash, Zucchini (green) Raven F1 Very
dark green and high-yielding. Darker green skin contains higher levels
of lutein, a highly effective antioxidant. Open plants produce glossy,
smooth, cylindrical fruit. Concentrated fruit set, so plan for multiple
plantings.
Winter Squash, Green Acorn Jet F1 Early,
improved, good, uniform, dark green to jet black fruit. Semi-bush plant
with an avg. yield of 5-7 fruits per plant. Avg. weight 2-3 lbs.
Winter Squash Butternut Waltham The
standard butternut. Light tan-colored winter squash with small seed
cavities and thic, cylindrical necks without crooks. Uniform fruits
average 9” long, averaging 4-5 lbs.. The flesh is smooth textured and
has a unique flavor, particularly after two months storage. All America
Selections Winner is still deservedly the most widely grown full-size
butternut. Average yield 4-5 fruits per plant.
Winter Squash Spaghetti Squash Yellow,
spaghetti-like flesh. Skin is ivory changing to pale yellow at
maturity. Bake like squash or boil and fork out the flesh, topping the
“spaghetti” with your favorite sauce. 3-5 lb. Oblong fruit. Avg. yield
4-5 fruits per plant.
Winter Squash Delicata JS Small Striped Unique,
7-9” long, 3” wide, 1 ½”-2 lb., cream colored fruits with dark green
longitudinal stripes and flecks. Very sweet, excellent for stuffing and
baking, even right after harvest, requiring no curing. Selected for
non-bitter fruits. Avg. yield: 5-7 fruits per plant.
