 March in the Greenhouse

  Gethsemane's Greenhouse is bursting with new plant material for Spring!  We are proud to offer a great selction of NEW material (some exclusive to Gethsemane) and some very interesting new twisis on our old favorites.  Just about everything in the greenhouse has been freshened up for Spring 2010!  We know you'll be as thrilled with the changes as we are.

 

   We’re celebrating March 17^th in the Greenhouse with Oxalis, more commonly known as Shamrock plants.  Add some fresh growing green to your St. Patrick’s Day festivities this year.  

  We will be overflowing with vibrant and beautiful blooming Easter & spring flowers later this month. Stroll through our aisles of traditional Easter lilies, fragrant Stargazer lilies, and the subtle beauty of Calla lilies.  We will be carrying Easter lilies in 6”, 8”, 10” pots, and the Stargazers will be available in 6”pots. 

  For additional blooming color for your home or to share with friends and family this Easter, we have a wonderful assortment of orchids, azaleas, cushion mums, Reiger begonias, potted hyacinth and daffodils, as well as gorgeous hydrangeas, some in 10” pots for maximum spring impact! 

  Also look for herbs in our greenhouse! We currently have in stock Basil, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, and Bay leaf.  We have everything you need to get your herb garden started.

 

  Need to spruce up your office or condo building entry way? Save a bundle by skipping the middle man and come directly to the source.  At Gethsemane Garden Center we offer expert advice for landscaping your interior spaces. We will help with plant selection, best placement for your area, and care for the specific plants that you choose. We can also assist with pots, saucers, fertilizers and all your plant care needs.

Your choice of curtains, presence of children, and desire to paint your walls will all be important factors. I picked out a small Neanthe Belle ($5.99) that should thrive in my low light apartment.

Really knowledgeable staff. I can't wait to go back. After wrapping your plant in a paper bag, and then another plastic clear one, they give you a little handout so that you can't mess things up. Great for indoor plant novices like myself.”
