Roses
At Gethsemane we take our roses very seriously, and the results show.
Each spring, at our offsite garden and greenhouse in Chicago, we plant Gethsemane roses and carefully nurture them for our rose gardening customers. In 2008, we planted 3000 bare root roses. We believe that bare root roses grown on their own rootstock will consistently outperform roses grown from a grafted rootstock. Gethsemane 2008 Roses - Bare Root and Boxed
Our selection of roses is vast, and includes fragrant roses, hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, climbers, shrubs, English roses, rugosa and American Rose Society winners. Once our roses are brought into the Gethsemane Yards, they are tended and cared for by our trained rose team, who will gladly assist you in choosing the right rose to accent your garden and compliment your existing roses.
With your purchase of a Gethsemane rose you will receive our own Rose Care Guide, which covers all aspects of rose care, from planting, spacing, watering, fertilizing, deadheading, disease and pest control, winter protection and spring pruning.
