Fall in Full Color: Beyond Orange, An Introduction to Fall Container Design
Explore fall’s full range of colors—from deep burgundies and near-blacks to bright pinks and yellows—and get to know seasonal plants such as ornamental cabbages and kales, celosia, rudbeckia, grasses, and other cool-season favorites. Learn how these plants perform in sun and shade, how their colors and textures change as temperatures cool, and how to combine them using the basic design principles of color, texture, shape, and form. Following a design demonstration, create your own fall container with guidance and sample designs for inspiration.
This introductory workshop is designed for beginners and anyone looking to strengthen their foundation in fall container design. No previous experience is necessary, and the workshop may be taken independently.
Session 2— Fall in Full Color: Creative Explorations in Container Design
